2 Boys Charged in Assault on Former New York Gov. David Paterson and Stepson

The boys, 12 and 13, were charged with gang assault, according to the police. Two adults who were involved in the attack have not been caught, the police said.

Two boys have been captured and charged in a road assault on David A. Paterson, a previous senator of Modern York, and his stepson, the police said.



One boy, who is 12, was charged with second-degree group ambush, and the other, a 13-year-old, was charged with third-degree group ambush, the police said on Saturday night. Both boys, went with by their guardians, turned themselves in to the police, concurring to Sean Darcy, a representative for Mr. Paterson.



A third individual, too a minor, went to the police but was not charged in the Friday night assault in Manhattan, concurring to an inner police report.



Mr. Paterson, 70, said at a news conference on Saturday that he was punched in the bear and a few times in the confront, whereas his stepson Anthony Sliwa, 20, was thumped to the ground and required fastens to his lower lip.



They were taken to NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell healing center for treatment and were sent domestic early Saturday morning, Mr. Darcy said.
