OSU's Will Howard Criticized by CFB Fans After Loss to Dillon Gabriel, No. 3 Oregon

On Saturday night, Ohio State's hopes of a last-minute comeback against Oregon were dashed when Buckeyes quarterback Will Howard ran out of time to lose 32-31.

Howard slid into the 25-yard line to end the game after wide receiver Jeremiah Smith took an offensive pass interference penalty on the final drive.
LeBron James, a native of Ohio, appeared dissatisfied with the final score.
Howard finished the game with three touchdowns and 326 passing yards, but the final play overshadowed them all.
Saturday night's ever changing Enormous Ten fight, which occurred before 15 NFL scouts and the biggest group in Autzen Arena history, was wild all along.
Ohio State took an early lead because of a questionable call on a Howard-to-Will Kacmarek throw that was ruled a catch and not reviewed.
The drive was then completed by Howard, who ran in the game-winning touchdown.
After two drives, the Ducks scored on their next possession when Ohio State running back Quinshon Judkins fumbled at the Buckeyes' 28-yard line.

However, Oregon's attempt turned into a scramble to prevent Ohio State from scoring because it was unsuccessful in converting the extra point.
After recovering an onside kick that deflected off Ohio State's Max Lomonico in the second quarter, Oregon scored.
After Oregon wide receiver Traeshon Holden was kicked out for spitting on Buckeyes cornerback Davison Igbinosun, the chaos continued into the second quarter.
As both teams entered a second half marked by back-and-forth lead changes, Oregon finished the second quarter with a one-point advantage.

The difference in the final score was Gabriel's 27-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.
On the same night as his former team, No. 3, Gabriel threw for 341 yards and three touchdowns. No. 18 Oklahoma lost 34-3 to No. 1 Texas.
Ohio State's last drive of the game deteriorated after a 15-yard punishment was approached Smith before Howard running out the clock.
In two weeks, Howard and Ohio State will take on No. 1 ranked opponents in one of the most exciting battles between top AP-ranked opponents. 2 Penn State in a conference matchup in Week 8.
